Meet Ash and Grant.

Ash is the best friend a girl could ever ask for… literally.  She’s so amazing that I find myself having a hard time thinking of the right words to describe her.  She always listens to my crazy and laughs as loud and long and hard as me.  She is unendingly encouraging, kind, beautiful, loving.  She’s just the best.

Ash and Grant told me they wanted a session this fall.  They wanted to do something fun!  Something that I don’t normally do but have been wanting to.  Because of my love for dramatic light and colorful skies, I knew right away that I wanted to do a sunrise session.  I love my sunset sessions of course, but there is something about the sharp cold of the early fall morning and the clouds that scatter across the bright color filled sky as the sun comes up.  I love the morning.  Have I mentioned that?  Well, the day of their session arrived and as the sun started to come up, it ushered in a thick fog.  So thick I could barely see three cars in front of me.

So plans changed.  And I have to say, I’m glad they did because it resulted in the following magic.
