01 Dec Delitra and Jake’s Winter Wedding

Happy December friends!

I absolutely cannot believe how fast this time of year flies by!  I love the holidays.  The music, the food, the decorations and sparkly lights, the time with family, the anticipation, the opportunity for reflection about the year.  It’s magical.

Around this time last year, Andy and I photographed Delitra and Jake’s wedding.  It was an abnormally warm day for December and we had a scare that it was going to pour rain all over us.  It ended up only sprinkling and trickling off as the day progressed.

These two are just wonderful!  Their love for each other bubbled over and I couldn’t help but beam with joy as I photographed them!  I loved the rich red dresses and flowers and classic tuxes and twinkling lights and Delitra’s fur shrug.  It was a beautiful and fun winter wedding day!
